Spend a holiday of death in a small town in Midwest. Alan Wake and you can almost touch.
And Alan is the star in this very interesting thriller which gives life to an uninspired writer. With the good intention of recovering it, he decides to stay with his wife Alice in Brigh Falls, an interesting town situated in an idyllic location between forests and mountains.
Far from achieving its goal, Alan finds helplessly as his wife disappears as excerpts from a book signed by him torment him, despite not remember having written. But the protagonist's problems do not stay there: Bright Falls seems to be possessed by a dark entity of unknown origin that takes control of people and objects equally, they will not have good intentions for the hero.
As a survival horror is, Remedy has decided to divide the development of the game by chapter, as it did in its day Alone in the Dark. The balance between action and research is clearly in the proposal playable: by day, we can move freely with Alan for clues that help us to serve, while at night we will use the flashlight to deal with the creatures.
Technically it will be one of the best Xbox 360 titles, Remedy has squeezed the full potential of Xbox 360 to bring us a world wide, detailed and nuanced, with some light effects that will leave no one indifferent and a palette of colors that right.
