The ultimate Sleeper Xbox 360 back to its old ways, the game Crackdown 2 promises the same capacity for fun from the first delivery, but far from satisfied with providing "one more of the same", the boys of Ruffian Games, replacing the original developers, Real Time Worlds, aims to improve and perfect ... I can forward that are on the right path.
The plot of the game Crackdown 2 takes us back to Pacific City, 10 years after the events narrated in the first half. The city has changed substantially and now The Agency will have to deal with a dangerous crime syndicate known as The Cell, that will not stop to take control of the city. But unfortunately for our agents, the cell is not the only threat ... Even the most dangerous: When night falls, the mutant virus emerged from a disastrous rule the streets of the city and do not hesitate to devour, no place is safe.
As was the case in the first part, Crackdown 2 make us a character with extraordinary powers, capable of almost anything we can imagine. Versed in the use of weapons and melee combat, our offensive will be almost unlimited resources, and our power will grow thanks to the ever-present orbs: jumping from the floor to a roof will be possible if we have the necessary capacity. The formula to use an almost invincible character we have seen in other games of the genre, as InFamous or Prototype, with considerable success.
But besides the single player mode, Crackdown 2 will offer even more dose of fun with four-player cooperative mode: here, we can decide how to act or agree to cooperate to overcome various missions, and if not, follow on our own progress in the main plot of the game without leaving the cooperative mode, which seems rather odd and downright practical. If you prefer to move to competitive action, Crackdown 2 Deathmatch offer a way for a total of 16 players: the city of Pacific City is the battlefield.
For the moment, Crackdown 2 is leaving us a pleasant taste in your mouth, giving almost for granted that their success and quality does not surprise anyone at this point.
