the Trailer for the Video Game 'Splinter Cell Conviction - ANALYSIS'
Been a long time, but we are here, after Double Agent, the return of the Splinter Cell franchise has been extended over the account. With a first prototype that we presented to a Sam Fisher who was hiding in broad daylight, we now return to hide in the shadows, but that does not mean, much less, we return to the beginning of the saga.
From Double Agent, Splinter Cell saga has focused more on the main character in the Tom Clancy's own conspiracies. Conviction millimeter meet this new premise, and gets us into the skin of a Sam Fisher with nothing to lose after the death of his daughter Sarah, as narrated in the previous game. However, nothing is as it seems, and the story becomes more complicated when Sam victim of a convoluted plot.
Conviction has received criticism from all but the largest component is too talk about their prevailing action throughout the game, which, fortunately or unfortunately, is true. While we continue building the shadows in our favor, they are just hiding place that Sam will need to kill everything that moves, and the metamorphosis of our secret agent makes it more of a Jason Bourne in a Sam Fisher use.
Sam will be a real killing machine, absolutely lethal in melee, every time we get to defeat an enemy so we compensate with points of execution, which we use to defeat more enemies by marking them and, finally, automatically kill a shot to the head by pressing a single button, with a system almost identical to that seen in Rainbow Six Vegas.
In fact, even playing on realistic difficulty level, it is relatively easy to end up with enemy opposition, especially if you use silenced weapons, making the shot in the head a constant. To this must be added is a chance of using human shields, knowing what our position is relevant once we have located the enemy, use the one so far is the best system of coverage seen in a game and even purchase upgrades for our weapons by completing a series of challenges that will bring us points. Action is the new raison d'être of the series.
Along the main mode, Splinter Cell Conviction offers a cooperative way as a prequel us into the lives of two undercover agents, one Russian and one American. Working with our partner, the objective of the mission is clear: to retrieve a nuclear warhead from the heart of Russia, The essence of the story mode is transferred to the cooperative mode, where the only change is the need to help each other and plan strategies. At least, it is fun.
Conviction is therefore a blow of fresh air to the series, although we believe that radical change its approach applied to damaged to some extent, the essence of the classic Splinter Cell. We would have liked a more reasonable balance between action and stealth, or at least one Sam would not be so vastly superior to its rivals in terms of capabilities murderers.
