the Trailer for the Video Game 'RED STEEL 2 - ADVANCE'
Red Steel was one of the Wii launch games, and despite the commercial success, the gaming experience was more disappointing than expected: control somewhat erratic and absurd plot, personality-free characters. But Ubisoft is a big company, and as such, knows correcting their errors, Red Steel 2 is a game that, at the outset, it is much more attractive than the first installment.
For starters, it completely changes the plot. Now we move through an environment and atmosphere blend wester future where we control the Swordsman, the last survivor of the protective order that must face the dangerous dark army of the Jackal.
Ubi aims to develop control systems seen so far in the genre, and although the movements are still not hundred percent true to life, now add on Wiimotion Plus adds precision and sensitivity that he lacked the original Wiimotion ; yet remains default, but the performance and response time is perfect, allowing us to enjoy the intense battles of katana ... blow gun or weapon that the guys at Ubi considered "cheating", ensuring that the real fun is to wield the sword.
The aesthetics have also changed, now betting on a Cel Shaded style that has given such good results within the genre in recent years, with the most recent case of Borderlands. Red Steel 2 shows, in this way, one of the most technical section of the console, with venues large and highly nuanced, but, yes, somewhat linear.
For now, Red Steel 2 has a fantastic pint, one of the major releases for Nintendo's console this year 2010.
