On VideoGames.tv we have within the PC Trailers
the Trailer for the Video Game 'Avatar - Analysis'
Avatar is James Cameron's latest film, a film that promises to shake the foundations of the special effects, as anyone using the 3D functions so fashionable.
With the release of the film comes just weeks before the game, acting as a prologue to the film, allowing control to Able Ryder, a soldier of the GDR with the task of collecting Unobtanium, a mineral characteristic of the planet Pandora , venue of the war between humans and the planet's dominant race: The Na'Vi.
The only way that humans have to fight the Na'Vi is using a technology known as Avatar, where a human can take your consciousness to a Na'Vi, and control it if any problem. This will be the turning point of the game: at a certain point, we must choose which side we represent human or Na'vis, and from there, development will vary.
As humans, the game will be a sandbox where you will meet a number of missions, both primary and secondary, the latter being somewhat repetitive, as Na'Vi, the game will become a Beat 'Em Up with touches plataformeros, where the camera, same human being, play tricks on us.
We, therefore, two games in one, lasting approximately 8 hours each, a point strongly in favor of the game. Another interesting possibility, although in our view ill-executed, is the need to increase the experience of our characters, and we badly executed because once chosen our preferred skill, the game experience points asiganará automatically, without giving us the opportunity to choose
Technically, the great attraction of the Avatar is to exploit their 3D features, available only to a few, in the case of using an HD TV, we will have an HDMI output that supports the 120 Megaherzios in the case of PC, you have to use stereoscopic 3D functions. If you have the luck to enjoy this feature, we will enjoy a great sense of depth, otherwise, Avatar will be a proper game, without fanfare.
In short, Avatar is a game that's right, that combines two genres in the right way but better, and makes little use of technology exploited today. In addition, the online mode is another of its attractions, waging fierce battles between the GDR and NA'VI.
